In accordance with agreements made under exchange programs such as Erasmus+ between our university and foreign higher education institutions, students can study for one or two semesters at higher education institutions abroad. During the exchange period, students must be enrolled at Istanbul Topkapı University, and this period is counted as part of their education.

The selection of courses to be taken by students during the exchange period is made with the approval of advisors and the relevant Board of Directors, ensuring that the course content and programs are appropriate and determining which courses will be exempted. The successfully completed courses are transferred to the student's transcript with their original names and credits; the grades are included in the calculation of the overall GPA, and it is indicated that the courses were taken under the exchange program. Courses that were not successfully completed will be retaken after the exchange period.
