Emre Tezmen, CFA, graduated from the Department of Economics at ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles) with High Honors in 1995, and subsequently completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) with Highest Honors in 1997. He also holds a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and is a Regular Member of the CFA Institute.

Having pioneered significant initiatives in the finance and technology sectors throughout his professional career, Tezmen took a major step in innovation by launching one of Turkey's first online trading platforms. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler, Tera Portföy Yönetimi, Tera Finans Faktoring, and Tera Yatırım Bankası, of which he is a co-founder. He concurrently holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Tera Yatırım Teknoloji Holding, Tera Finansal Yatırımlar Holding, Tera Yatırım Holding, and Peker GYO.

Continuing his work as the Chairman of the Board of Barikat Group since September 2024, Tezmen undertakes strategic leadership in the fields of cybersecurity and technology. Since 2022, he has served as a Board Member and the Chairman of the Venture Capital Committee at the DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) / Digital Technologies Business Council. Furthermore, as a Board Member of Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (Central Registry Agency) since 2023, he contributes to the security and transparency of the financial system.

Playing an active role in the development of Turkey's financial and technological infrastructure with his international experience, entrepreneurial vision, and leadership approach, Tezmen continues his efforts to support sustainable growth in both sectors.
