Istanbul Topkapi University to Host ISTAI 2026 – International Sensor Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Congress
ISTAI 2026 – International Sensor Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Congress will be held on 12–15 October 2026 at Istanbul Topkapi University Conference Hall.
ISTAI 2026, which will be organized for the first time, aims to bring together researchers, academics, industry representatives, and students working in the fields of sensor technologies, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, smart systems, and autonomous technologies.
The congress will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person or online. ISTAI 2026 will provide an important academic platform for presenting recent research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and discussing future directions in sensor technologies and artificial intelligence.
The main objectives of the congress include supporting current research trends in sensor technologies and AI-driven intelligent systems, addressing sensing, data processing, learning, and deployment processes through a holistic system-level approach, and encouraging innovative solutions in multi-sensor fusion, real-time inference, and edge intelligence. In addition, the congress aims to improve the quality of scientific output through benchmarking, transparent experimental processes, and reproducible research practices.
Within the scope of ISTAI 2026, the use of artificial intelligence and sensor technologies will be discussed in application areas such as healthcare, smart agriculture, Industry 4.0/5.0, smart cities, energy systems, and environmental monitoring. The congress also aims to strengthen academia–industry collaboration and contribute to the development of deployable and standards-aware solutions.
