The weekly lesson curriculum for the English Preparatory class has been designed to enable students in our university's English-taught programs to follow the lessons taught in English.
The weekly lesson curriculum considers four language skills, which can be listed as writing, reading, listening/speaking, and grammar. The lesson hours in the weekly curriculum are determined as follows:
The reading course is 6 hours, the writing course is 6 hours, the speaking/listening course is 6 hours, the grammar course is 4 hours, and the video course focusing on speaking/listening skills is 2 hours. In this context, the total weekly training time is 24 hours. There are four modules, each lasting 9 weeks, including exam weeks, and the entire training process lasts 32 weeks. This period does not include days allocated for the placement exam, exemption exam, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, midterm exams, or the final exam. To complete the English Preparatory Program and begin departmental courses, students must score at least 60 points or higher on the final exam.
